About Dynasty Blueprint

Last updated: June 10, 2026

What it is

Dynasty Blueprint is a free dynasty fantasy football analytics platform built specifically for Sleeper leagues. It includes a trade calculator, trade finder, team grader, weekly power rankings, draft pick values, and a full trade history view with then-vs-now valuations. Everything runs in your browser. There are no accounts, no paywalls, and no premium tier.

Why it exists

Most dynasty value sites publish a single ranking — one analyst's opinion, or one crowd's votes. That works fine until two sources disagree by 30%, which happens constantly in dynasty (especially for rookies, aging veterans, and quarterbacks in non-Superflex leagues). The original goal of Dynasty Blueprint was simple: combine the major public value sources into one consensus, adjust for the actual scoring settings of the league you're in, and stop arguing with league mates about whose ranking is "right."

The site grew from there. Once league data was being pulled from Sleeper, it became possible to grade every team automatically, surface realistic trade packages without a human typing them in, and replay every past trade with both the values that existed at the time and the values that exist today.

Who builds it

Dynasty Blueprint is built and maintained by Josh Martin, an independent developer and dynasty fantasy football manager based in Denver, Colorado. It is not a venture-backed company. It is not affiliated with the NFL, with Sleeper, or with any of the value sources it aggregates. The codebase, the design, the methodology, the worker that refreshes values, and the response to your bug report are all one person.

If you want to reach out — feedback, bug reports, league suggestions, business inquiries — use the contact page or email [email protected] directly.

How it stays free

Dynasty Blueprint is supported by a small number of display ads served through Google AdSense. That covers the hosting, the value-refresh worker, and the domain. There are no affiliate paywalls. Player and pick values are not gated. There is no "Pro" tier that unlocks the real numbers. If an ad is broken or intrusive, please report it — the goal is for the tool to feel useful, not noisy.

Some links elsewhere on the site (for example, to sportsbooks or fantasy platforms) may be affiliate links. The privacy policy spells out exactly which categories of links those are and what data is shared. The value rankings themselves are never influenced by affiliate relationships.

How it differs from other dynasty sites

Multi-source consensus, not a single ranking

Most dynasty calculators use one set of values — typically KTC or FantasyCalc. Dynasty Blueprint blends six public sources (KTC, FantasyCalc, DynastyDaddy, FantasyPros ECR, RosterAudit, DynastyProcess) into a single consensus value per player, with the ability to switch sources or build a custom weighted blend if you trust one source more than the others.

Format-aware, not generic

Values shift automatically based on your league's scoring: Superflex versus 1QB, PPR amount, TE Premium (0.5 or 1.0), starting lineup size, and league size. A late-1st in a 12-team Superflex league is not the same as a late-1st in a 10-team 1QB league. The math reflects that.

Built for Sleeper, not a generic database

Drop your Sleeper league ID and Dynasty Blueprint pulls rosters, draft picks, transactions, and matchups directly from Sleeper's public API. Sleeper data is processed entirely in your browser — it never reaches a Dynasty Blueprint server.

Trade history with then-vs-now

Weekly snapshots of every player and pick are preserved, so the trade history view can show what each asset was worth on the day the trade happened and what it's worth today. Most calculators only let you grade trades against current values.

How values are calculated

The short version: six value sources are normalized to a common 0–10,000 scale, averaged into a consensus value, and then format-adjusted based on your league's scoring. Trade calculator math layers on tier multipliers (so trading away a top-12 player costs more than the raw number suggests) and a "pieces tax" (so packaging three role players to land a star isn't valued the same as a clean 1-for-1).

Pick values are computed independently using a proprietary anchor-and-chain model — Dynasty Blueprint does not import pick values from any other site. Picks are valued for the next three drafts and adjusted for league size and Superflex.

The full breakdown lives on the methodology page: every source, every weight, every multiplier, every signal, with examples.

What it isn't

Roadmap

Active work is focused on three areas: deeper trade analysis (counter-offer generation, retro grading, per-side roster impact), better playoff and championship odds modeling, and faster value refresh from the underlying sources. The methodology page tracks specifics.
